The Estate includes 8 guest suites that can accommodate up to 36 people. Family and friends can gather in the many common areas to enjoy games, drinks, or just a nice conversation by the fire. The bedrooms are located on the main and second levels of the residence. The rooms are uniquely named and decorated after places around the world. The estate offers so many refined spaces to enjoy. The main level has two separate dining areas, a huge living room complete with a grand fireplace, commercial kitchen, bar, and sitting area, 4 suites, and several entrances to the outside patios. The upper level has 4 suites, office space, and storage. The lower level is filled with entertaining space, a spa with treatment rooms, a sauna, and a workout space, a large temperature-controlled wine cellar, complete with a wine tasting table, a conference room/office, a pool table, and a large game/tv area, and access to caretakers apartment.
The entrance to the Chateau is just as grand as the residence. You enter through a gated entry and start your slow beautiful climb up to the Chateau. You travel a short way on a gravel road and then turn into the Chateaus private drive, which is paved. The road is tree-lined with beautiful, fenced grounds and lots of pastures and pines. Once you reach the top of the driveway you have a very large, paved parking area and a paved road around the Chateau. The views are stunning all around. The grounds are landscaped with the hot tub area and viewing deck to the left of the Chateau and a fire pit set up to the right of the Chateau.
The Chateau is located a short drive from the town of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Located in the rugged San Juan Mountains and vast areas of National Forest. The San Juan River runs through the town, with its generous trout population, making for great fishing experiences. Wolf Creek Ski area is located just northwest of the town, known for its large snow and family-friendly atmosphere. Pagosa Springs offers tons of amenities plus an airport and medical facility. Pagosa Springs is most famous for its geothermal hot springs, located right in the middle of town.
