Au Train Island is a true Lake Superior landmark offering over 2 miles of pristine frontage and 106 acres of forest. Au Train Island is located on Lake Superior in the central part of Michigans Upper Peninsula. With limited supply of Lake Superior frontage, the island is situated in a truly superior location. The closest point of mainland is about 1 mile from the island and the nearest public boat dock is approximately 2 1/2 miles. Pictured Rocks National LakeShore, the city of Munising, Grand Island National Recreation Area and the city of Marquette are all less than 30 miles from this island. Both Munising and Marquette have full service harbors. The entire island is still under single ownership.
