Motorsport Park Hastings has been named One of the Top 10 Places to Speed Legally by Forbes magazine. This 2.14 mile track was designed by renowned racetrack designer Alan Wilson. The course has been reviewed and approved by renowned racetrack consultant Martyn Thake for the SCCA. The course is an SCCA approved circuit and also used by the SCCA, NASA, RMVR, PCA, WKA, and Ducati Motorcycles. MPH is the host for nearly 50 events annually. The track has paid host to local, regional, and national events of all types and sizes. The track is home to annual racing events for all sorts of specialty car and motorcycle clubs. Examples of such events would include special racing events just for Corvettes, Mustangs, GTs, Porsches, Vipers, classic muscle cars, Indy cars and many others. They have Grudge Match Street racing events. The track offers HPDE (High Performance Driver Education) lessons taught by certified instructors. In the winter the track hosts drifting events when the track is covered in ice and snow. Enthusiasts come from across the country to participate in racing events. The Track also sells memberships to the Guardrail Club. Members receive special rates on clubhouse and track rental, and are granted occasional use of the track during off hours for themselves and a guest. MPH has been steadily expanding the potential revenue streams for the track. They currently offer Clone (Sportsman) Karts and Tag Karts for rental on designated days. They offer paddock RV rental for events, with 30 spots available with power and access to fresh water, and shower and bathroom facilities for guests without such facilities in their RVs. The clubhouse is available for use on Event days, or it can rented for private events. This beautifully built facility can seat up to 75 people. There are three big screen TVs, Direct TV, Fiber, and WiFi services in the clubhouse. There is also a lower level Drivers Lounge with shuffleboard and a pool table available. The track has an elevated, enclosed flagging platform at the finish line, and a large air-conditioned building for scorekeepers, announcers, and media personnel. There is a covered race port available for rental with 16 parking spots with electricity available. The entire paddock area, facilities, and the track itself is in excellent condition. While the track and facilities are available for sale, the track continues to offer a variety of investment opportunities. There are 72 surveyed lots for building condos and garages within the interior margins of the track, of which 25 are sold. A few of the garages and condos already built are available for rental, and one is for sale. The track as a whole is available for rental for day or week-long Corporate events. The track has excellent staff in place that would gladly assist the new Ownership. An experienced General Manager is in place, and would be willing to stay on with new Ownership. His hospitality and customer service has greatly contributed to the overwhelmingly positive reviews posted by patrons of the track. The current Ownership is willing to lease back the facility. If grandstands were built, admission to racing events could be sold. With advertisement in cities with proximity to Hastings such as Lincoln, Omaha, and Kansas City for major events, large crowds could be drawn, which would in turn increase demand for lots and condos.
