RAPELJE BISON RANCH

Rapelje Bison Ranch is a low overhead livestock and dryland farm operation in the famed ranch county of central Montana. The current Ranch ownership has begun the transition from a historic cattle-and-grain operation into a bison ranch, which has generated numerous capital improvement projects including extensive fencing, updated stock-water system, new shop and new ranch-manager home. Rapelje Bison Ranch is located about 25 miles north of Columbus in the historic open range of central Montana. The Ranch encompasses 15,949 deeded acres that are a mix of native pasture, sub-irrigated pasture, mixed upland acres and tilled cropland. The Ranch includes 640 State of Montana leased acres making a 16,589 total acre Ranch.
