The RimRock Ranch is located approximately 10 miles northwest of Crawford, Nebraska and consists of 800 deeded acres of rolling grassland pastures rising to a 500 foot ridgeline adjacent to the historic Fort Robinson State Park. There is a cool clear freshwater pond fed by numerous springs on the two adjoining streams in the center of the ranch providing ample good water for livestock and wildlife. The pond is well stocked with bass and pan fish. Water tanks are located in pastures that do not have natural water. There is a heavy-duty wooden corral system for working bison and other livestock. Historically, the current owners have run 35 to 40 cow/calf bison pairs with an additional 12 to 20 mixed age livestock. This past year, the ranch was leased to a neighbor to graze cattle during the summer. Located on the ranch is a newly remodeled 2,200 sq. ft. home. The main living area of the three bedroom, 1- bath home was built with logs harvested off the property and the great room features a floor-to-ceiling fireplace built of petrified wood gathered from around the area.
