Oneida offers just about anything you need: hospital, Super Walmart, Tractor Supply, Farmer's Coop, and numerous local and chain restaurants. Utilities at or near the county road include Oneida municipal water (or private well), and Highland Communications high-speed internet; Plateau Electric is extending power up the private driveway to the base of the mountain on the upper flat, so you only have to pay to extend power the modest distance to your selected build site. Septic approval required per State of TN guidelines. More acreage available adjoining to the north-northwest if you want a larger farm contiguous with this 30 acres. Accessed from Buffalo Rd via 50-foot wide right-of-way (ROW) driveway providing ample room for overhead electric and internet utilities with a road agreement binding all owners to maintain the road and split maintenance costs equally. The private drive serving this land is graveled to allow construction vehicles and concrete trucks into the property. The drive may be gated and locked if desired since the access driveway is private (access must be shared with all neighbors). Enjoy beautiful mountain views looking to the south-southwest at the opposite mountain. Great site for country living with all farm animals allowed and fantastic recreational opportunities in the area. Build whatever you want on the land: tiny home, RV or Class A parking space, metal toy building, wood cabin, traditional stick-framed home, barndominium, etc with no restrictions and no zoning. This area is modestly populated and the land is surrounded by private farms and institutionally-held hardwood timber forests to the north and east. Great fishing and abundant game on nearby public land including Lake Norris, Cove Lake, Big South Fork National Recreation Area, TWRA hunting land, and Ride Royal Blue at I-75 Exit 141. Brimstone is just a few miles to the southwest. This region is truly a paradise for the outdoorsman, naturalist, or homesteader. Deer, elk, bear, turkey, and all mountain small game thrive in this valley. See my ads below for farms in the Elk Valley/Newcomb area or the 89 acres in Pioneer. Landowner has many more sites available so contact via text or email if you're looking for something different. The plat plan is included in the pictures for the parcels east and south of this 30+- acres and the 16.73 acres adjoining (Parcel "F"). This Parcel "G," is above Parcel "A" on the plat. The driveway entrance pictured serves Parcels C, D, E, F, and G. The pond adjoining the driveway at the entrance from Buffalo Rd is not on this parcel, but owners using the private road right-of-way may access the pond at the south bank; you have several areas suitable for a small farm pond on this property if you wish to construct a private pond for your homestead. No offers considered without proof of funds to close or evidence of preapproval of your financing. TOUR AT YOUR OWN RISK-by entering the property you agree to be responsible for your actions and choices and use due caution on the land; a contractor is engaged in active grading and hauling on site so please give wide berth to any moving equipment and notify me to schedule your visit to the property. Do not walk toward the sound of a chain saw! Enjoy cool summer evenings at the top of the mountain near 2000 feet in elevation. MORE LAND AVAILABLE-see my ads at bottom of the landing page for 90 acres off-grid and either 89+- or 15+ acres with utilities available and access roads in place with great build sites already cleared. I have more land available from 1 acre to over 1,000 acres not yet listed for sale so please contact me if you're looking for something other than what you see on this page.

From the intersection of Buffalo Rd and Stanley Creek Rd at Mt Zion Baptist Church, proceed northwest toward Oneida on Buffalo Rd for .7 miles and look for the newly-graded driveway on your right with fresh gravel just before you reach the pond. Remove the yellow rope at the gate and enter the property, driving a half-mile up the the large flat (note: the driveway runs adjacent to the pond and continues above the pond to the flat at the top of Parcels C and D and the bottom of Parcels E and F). Once you reach the top of the flat, take a left as the road continues going northwest for another half-mile until you see equipment parked at the base of the mountain. As you pass between Parcels B2 and F, you will see orange painted T-posts along the drive. Proceed past the T-posts painted orange and continue until you see a large cleared area and equipment at the base of the mountain. Park on the road and walk uphill to see home site and views. Please replace the rope at the entrance when you depart. See last page in the "pictures" section of this listing for the plat image.
