The 557 acre Tacy Farm dates back to 1852 when young George N. Tacy purchased his first tract of virgin timberland in the remote Allegheny Mountains of Virginia. He then set his mind and back to carving out a subsistence farm along the Greenbrier River. Today, 165 years later, the historic mountain farm is surrounded by three WV State Parks and still retains 1500+/- feet of frontage on the wild and un-tamed Greenbrier River.
