This upland hardwood tract offers both merchantable and pre-merchantable timber. Additionally, this tract has great interior access to facilitate future silvicultural and wildlife management activities. Forest Management Notes: The entire tract was harvested in 2003. However, portions of the tract were treated according to crop tree release principles. Other areas were selectively cut except for the tops of the ridges which were clear cut. The west and south facing slopes were clearcut further down the ridge than the east and north slopes.
A few months after the timber was harvested, high winds damaged a significant amount of the remaining timber on this tract.
