The Bryon Walker Wildlife Area and Kingman State Fishing Lake starts only 2 miles south of the property and is home to a 144 acre fishing lake and 4,529 acres available for public hunting, fishing and general recreation.

Kingman, Kansas is the nearest town and has all amenities and a healthcare center.
