Numerous springs as well as Smith and Jensen Creek run year round on the property, supplying water to the hay field and wildlife. Water rights support the hay fields and offer tremendous potential to develop future ponds for fishing. The Ranch has a good trail system making it easy to access all parts of the property as well as the BLM. This wildlife rich property is enclosed, by over 12 miles of BLM boundary. The combination of trails on the property and BLM makes it a desirable ranch for snowmobiling, four wheel rides and horseback rides.
Large numbers 200-300 elk can be seen coming off of Elk and Grouse Mountain during the Colorado Rifle seasons and winter on the ranch.
