Main Lodge. A beautiful custom lodge is positioned to overlook a 2-acre lake. WATER: There is no shortage of water on this ranch. With 6 lakes and 2 irrigation water wells, this ranch is one of the best watered ranches in South Texas for its size. Two irrigation wells pipe water through an 8 inch pipe to all 6 lakes on the ranch. The most recent well was drilled 2 years ago and has an 8 inch casing and is run on a diesel engine. The irrigation wells are tied together and are believed to be 1000 feet deep. They run 500 GPM and 700 GPM respectively. The lakes vary in size with 12 acres being the largest. The lakes were designed to attract ducks and support bass fishing. Included are the Wetlands Lake 12 acres, Caliche Lake 3.2 Acres, House Lake 2 acres, Small House Lake .33 Acre, Hidden Lake 1.25 Acres and North Lake .50 Acre.

WILDLIFE: Not only does this ranch provide World Class bass fishing and duck hunting, but it also offers good dove, quail, turkey and deer hunting. The current owners entered into a Private Lands Agreement with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. This agreement covers 19.5 acres for the purpose of establishing 7.5 acres of shallow water wetland and 12 acres of buffering uplands. The wetland unit was established and will be managed for the benefit of water fowl, migratory shore birds, wading birds, and other migratory and resident wetland dependent species.

VEGETATION: This ranch has a good combination of brush and pastureland. Brush species include guajillo, blackbrush, white brush, guayacan, persimmon, mesquite and many more. Large willow trees are found around the lakes.
