The Bear Springs Coulee Ranch is located is 25 miles northeast of Denton. Access is by 9 miles paved road and then 16 miles county gravel. Bear Springs Bench is an area roughly 16,000 acres between the Judith River and Wolf Creek. The gain in elevation from Wolf Creek to Bear Springs Bench is over 700 feet. The Bench has some of the richest soils in the state. The ranch has been owned by the same family since the 1950s. Owners have leased the Ranch to the Knox Family who are noted operators in the Denton Area producing some of the finest wheat and barley crops around and treating the land for decades as if it were their own. The pastures are utilized sparingly in the late summer/early fall months.
