Whitney Grass Ranch

North Whitney Grass Ranch is a productive grassing ranch consisting of 960 acres of hard grass. Located four miles north of Whitney, Nebraska, or 15 miles northwest of Crawford, Nebraska. Or 20 miles northeast of Chadron Nebraska. The ranch is watered by three stock dams and has pipeline water supplied by Dawes County Rural Water with tire tanks. The fences are primarily four and five strand with a small amount of three wire fences. The Ranch consists of two pastures with 320 acres on the west side of Lone Tree Road and 640 acres on the east side of Lone Tree Road. Palmer Creek flows through the east portion of the ranch. There are a small set of working corrals adjacent to Lone Tree Road on the east portion of the ranch. Antelope and mule deer provide big game hunting.
