The dense forage and grasses are a natural habitat for various kinds of wildlife. There are not neighboring easements through the ranch and the property is surrounded by other larger ranches. Elevation ranches from about 1900 to 2200 feet. The road is good in the bottom of the canyon but will need a four wheel drive to top out. For the road to the top of the canyon a Dune buggy or four wheeler, or ranger is needed. Hunting can begin almost as soon as one is off the paved road. It appears one is in a wilderness far removed from civilization. It is similar to the Pecos river property just a couple of miles away.
IMPROVEMENTS: Wood Canyon is totally fenced and it has electricity, water and a deer camp. The camp site consists of an older mobile home, located about a quarter of a mile up the canyon,
