Smyrna Tract (#4506): NW of the NE, N of the NW, Section 10; SE of the NW of the SW, part of the SW of the SW, S of the SE of the SW, Section 3; Township 8 South, Range 22 West, containing a total of 190 acres, more or less. Access is frontage on Highway 26 and Smyrna Church Road. Timber consists of 76 acres of well-stocked 1996 and 1997 pine plantations that have been thinned once; mature native pine /

hardwood in streamside management zone; and 61 acres of 2015 cutover, acreage which was a long-term timber deed. Site index for loblolly pine averages 82 feet (base age 50) on sandy and silt loam soils. Based on Kingwood's October, 2015 inventory (cruise lines running east and west with one point / two acres), estimated tree counts and timber volumes are as follows:

Method of Sale: The tracts will be sold on the basis of lump sum sealed bids. Bids may be submitted for any or all tracts. Mailed offers should be addressed to Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc., P.O. Box 65, Arkadelphia, AR 71923 with "Clark County Land Sales" clearly marked in the lower left corner of the envelope to protect security of the offer. An offer form is attached. Bids will be opened at the Kingwood Forestry office at #4 Executive Circle, Arkadelphia, Arkansas at 3:00 P.M, Friday, January 29, 2016. On mailed offers please call our office prior to bid opening to confirm receipt of offer. Buyers submitting offers are welcome to attend the bid opening. Offers may be delivered by fax to 8702463341.
