Although located in Southeast Oklahoma, this ranch has an uncharacteristic Western feel due to the habitat found in the Arbuckle Uplift ecoregion. Rocky hilltops with rolling Bluestem, plum thickets and even some cactus make this property standout from the mostly timbered land found in SEOK.
The uplands give way to ridges lined with Chinkapin Oaks and Persimmon trees, then fall hard into big hardwood hollows. There are two, ancient concreted spring seeps hidden on the edges of small meadows.
One of the two large drainages on the property flows into a beautiful 12-acre lake that has been stocked and managed to produce big bass, some as large as 9 pounds. There are several small ponds and numerous locations to build ponds and even lakes.
This ranch has been very lightly hunted for the past 15 years and has produced a giant nontypical buck scoring just over 200". In this area, both Rio Grande and Eastern Wild Turkeys can be found and oftentimes a hybrid of the two, which is a unique opportunity.
There is a modular home with all utilities that has been utilized as a hunting cabin. There is also a choice building spot overlooking the lake that would make an ideal place to build a new cabin or home.
