Pipkins Farm

Located just east of DeWitt, Arkansas, the Pipkins Farm consists of 160 +/- total acres of tillable farmland and timber. The Arkansas County Farm Service Agency says the farm consists of 132 acres of tillable ground most of which is irrigated by 1 electric well along with underground piping. The soils consist of silt loam soils. The farmer has grown rice, soybeans, and corn on the property. The current farm lease is a cash rent that expires December of 2023. The remaining acreage is a mix of bottomland timber, open grass field, and small ponds. This area of the farm is currently mowed periodically but could be enrolled into a conservation easement to increase the annual income. This property sets between LaGrue Bayou and Big Creek just northwest of the White River National Wildlife Refuge. This area is known for giant whitetail deer and lots of hunting opportunities.
